Where are you from?

Chicago, Illinois


What background do you have in art?

Earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art at university.


What role, if any, do artists have in social justice?

Artists can play a major role in social justice by being a voice, an advocate to the speechless and silenced people groups and or societies. Artist have the flexibility through expressions of mediums such as performance, visual, environmental, and media arts.


What inspires your creative work the most?

Current topics and events that are domestic and abroad.


What themes do you most pursue?

Social justice, science, distopia of societies, and fantasy.


How have other artists influenced your work?

Through design, patterns ( fabric and textile mostly) and formation of layout.


How do you see your work engaging people?

I would like to hope that people will start to question the underlying issues and meanings of my work.


What memorable responses have you had to your work?

I had a women (non westerner) ask "Why the image of the work was crying red juice?" I then had to explain to her that this particular piece of art was a response of how I saw and reflected the violence and hate that was going on in my country.


What is your dream project?

I would like to make larger panels or canvases of my work of art "Blood Runs Deep" and "Young

Sex Bridge" for an activist group in the future.

How can people support artists and creatives well?

Raises awareness of such artist on social media such as liking their post or art on Instagram, Flikr, and artist website. Going to an artist exhibitions and inviting friends to support as well.
